The Sacred Union Labyrinth
The labyrinth is at the heart of what makes The Heart Wood truly special. Inspired by Robin Clayfield’s labyrinth installation at the Woodford Folk Festival, and with her blessing, we have created a sacred space where couples and individuals can mark their life milestones in a meaningful, symbolic journey. The heart-shaped labyrinth is more than just a ceremony space—it’s a path of reflection, balance, and transformation.
Couples may begin their journey on separate paths, symbolizing the individual aspects of their lives, before uniting in the heart of the labyrinth to exchange vows, intentions, or commitments. With reflection stations along the way, it’s a space for contemplation, connection, and ultimately, unity. Ideal for intimate weddings, handfastings, or personal rites of passage, the labyrinth offers a truly unique experience in nature’s embrace.
